Hello, humans! (And all you other life forms. Or ghosts. Or whoever happens to be reading this.)

I have not posted for... wait a sec... almost a month. Not since August, which is-

Me: far too long for you poor souls to be without my brilliance.
Myself: and my squirrel jokes.
I: Hi guys! I'm so glad to see you again!

Oh yeah, they're here too. Hello, girls.
I suppose I should update you all on my existence! Lets see... since I last wrote a post, I have been to Texas for a mission appeal. That went well.  Nothing to report. I have read a numerous number of books, and listened to many audio books too. I have listened to a bunch of fun music too. Ummmmm... I have decided that I will be adding more gifs to my posts because I love gifs! Also, we will-

Myself: tell more squirrel jokes! Do you know how to catch a squirrel?
Me: why would you want to catch a squirrel?
I: um, you use a net?
Myself: you climb up a tree, and act like a nut!*laughs*
I: *smiles* you are getting better, at those!
Me: I refuse to look at you.
Myself: *falls off couch* I- can't- can't- b-breathe!!

Wow. Just wow. And what is this with the interrupting me? Quit it!
So, I was going to do more in the FLC, but.... well, it didn't work out, so... I have the picture for the creature I made up, and also just so you know, TEAM DRAGON WON!

Thank you so much Kathryn for doing that!
Voila!  My creature. I used a 0.5 mm led mechanical pencil, and watercolor paints to color.

FOR CLARIFICATION: she is wearing a dress, and the two darker blue squiggly shapes are NOT her legs. They are part of the dress. Her legs are not visible due to the fact that she is wearing a dress. And the lighter blue shape is NOT a tail. It is ALSO part of the dress. Just thought I'd let you know.

Books I've read:
I may have mentioned some before, but who cares?
  1. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians
  2. Demigod Files
  3. Trials of Apollo
  4. Mister Max the Book of Lost Things
  5. Sure Signs of Crazy
  6. Wings of Fire
I know I have read more but I can't think of them at the moment!

Audiobooks I've listened to:
  1. Sparkling Cyonide
  2. Peril at End House
  3. 4:50 from Padington
  4. A Body in the Library
  5. Hercule Poirot's Christmas
  6. The ABC Murders
And I think that is it!

SPEAK, KNAVE!

What have you been doing lately?  Read any good books? ANY AGATHA CHRISTIE FANS OUT THERE?? Any books you would reccomend that I can add to my 59,0000 item long To Be Read list??? Who else has read any of the books I have? (Or audiobooks) My ears ache from hearing my own voice.

FLC IS HERE!!!!!!

Hello everyone! And how are we all today? Just brilliant I am sure!
So, I have a couple of announcements,  first off, I am going camping at a lake and woohoo! What fun! Excpet it isn't really camping because it is going to be in a house thingy. Ah well. It will still be fun!

Next! I am going to be participating in Fantasy Liturature Camp, hosted by Kathryn (totally go check out her blog, people!) So today's topic will be the project I was assigned. By the way, I am part of Team Dragon,  and I will put the button up someday soon, but not today, Zurg,  because I can't figure it out! (Help, please!?) Actually I will be! Ta-da!!!!!! (THANKS KATHRYN!)

So, todays project:
Create a fantastical creature! Describe it on your blog-what would it eat, what does it look like, and does it have any special powers? Make it as detailed as you want. You can draw a picture of it for five extra points.
10pts, 15pts with picture

So, I don't have time for a picture today, sadly... but I will describe it! My creature is a mix of already invented ones. They have dragon wings, and a human looking face, and human looking body, minus the dragon wings, of course. They can only breath above water for an hour or so. They live underwater, and despite their what they look like, they are very useful for swimming. They are not highly intelligent creatures,  but make wonderful messengers in the underwater kingdom. They wear clothes that Madame, the queen of the UnderRealm, gave to them. They are strictly vegan. Their powers are their photographic memories. They remember everything that they hear or see. I will try to draw a picture some other time. Well, that's it!! I can't wait to do more of these!!!!

My Blog's Design- A Review

Aaye Mellonamin!

And how are we today?
I: fine, thank you!
Me: molto bene!
Myself: hey did you see that squirrel yesterday?
Me: the one that the dog chased?
Myself: yeah, that thing was completely nuts!!! *roars with laughter*
Me: he. he. he.
I: that is really not funny at all

(I'll just keep going with the post. Sorry about the noise! They are like this ALL the time. Esspecially when I'm trying to get to sleep!)
So, in case you couldn't tell, about two weeks ago I got a new design!!
I wasn't satisfied with my own work, so I asked my friend Allie Taylor for help. She does blog design and oh. My. g-o-s-h. She is good. I mean, just look at this place!!
Go check out her blog! And if you need work done, ask her. She's wonderful!!!!!!!
Here is my review.
I asked for a midnight in spring feel. She gave me midnight blue font, with a silvery background. I also asked for pale green somewhere, because I LOVE the color! So, little box thingy majig around the pages, that is green. And the replies to comments are in green too. I wasn´t even sure how it would work with blue and purple, but it worked WONDERFULLY!
The design is simple and open, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Also, she made me a button and a header, which I have wanted for a while but didn´t know how to do. So far, I have not found a single deffect.
Out of five stars I give her 10. Great job, Allie! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Me: hey! She was writing the post without us!!!!
Myself: not cool, E. NOT. COOL.
I: *gasp* how could you?

Oh calm down girls, sheesh. It's just a post!

Me: I can't believe you!!!!
Myself: I oughta punch you!
I: *cries*

Um, calm down, okay? It's not the end of the world yet! He he. Right? Right?
*chuckles nervously* um, see ya people. I need to run.

Vedui' il'er

Vedui' il'er!
Yeah, yeah I know. I said I would only post every other week, but honest, it's an emergency. There's a crack. In my wall. Aunt Shy says it's an ordinary crack, but I know it's not, cause at night... there are voices. So please could you send someone to fix it. Or a policeman. Or-
Oh wait, you didn't want a quote? Woops. That was from The Eleventh Hour, the first episode of season five of Doctor Who. Amelia Pond says it. So back to the real thing:
I am going to be doing a character conversation with my friend Christine's (not Daae, unfortunately. She ran off with Raoul. Tsk. Tsk. What a foolish girl) character.
The emergency is just this: we don't really know what we want our characters to say. So, we want you, lovely readers, (yes, contrary to common belief *frowns at myself* you are lovely) to supply them with questions. Here is your assingment in bold just in case you don't understand, Me tells me that she doesn't:
What would you like my character (Mik) to ask Christine's character (Eirick), or vice versa?
Still not make sense? Ask in a comment! Thank you for reading this, even though I said I wouldn't post it!
Namaarie Mellonamin!
~Your Friend (FOREVER) in the Yellow Shirt, E
Joke lang! Thought you got rid of me, eh? Well you didn't! (Excuse me for a moment, I need to laugh evilly and do a villain's rule! dance)
For serious, though. It was pointed out to me, by my wonderful friend that the above post was confusing. I felt so too, but I wasn't sure so I'm glad she thought so too.
Okay, let's pretend I am going to be Dorathy from The Wizard of Oz. And you, are going to be Alice from Alice in Wonderland. We are going to talk to eachother but only as our characters.
That is what I will be doing with Christine, only not with Alice and Dorothy, but with our own characters from our own stories. Make more sense? Sorry for the misunderstanding before!

A Little Bit Of Nothing...

Hello all you lovely readers!

Me: ha! that's the funniest thing I've heard all day!

Myself: what about that joke I told you?
Me: you mean the dog one?
Myself: yep. wasn't it great?
Me: you know what, not really.
I: You mean this one? "A dog walks up to a tree and then says 'oh no, I forgot to store acorns for winter and now I am dead."
Myself: *doubles over with laughter* it's so funny because the squirrel gets dead!
Me: you think you are so funny, don't you?
I: that's from Up isn't it?
Myself: yeah isn't it great? *laughs hysterically*
Me: Amin feuya ten' lle

cricket cricket. cheep cheep. blink blink.

Okay that was weird. I need to ground those three.

Me, Myself and I: WHAAAAT??? NOOOOO!!!!!
Me: the 'lovely' readers love us!!!
Myself: I need to tell more squirrel jokes!! where will the world be without me??
I: PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ DOOOOOOOON'T!!!!!!!!!!

Oh good grief! What do you think? Should I keep them? (please answer in the comments) I may just bring them out for special occasions. Anyways, back to the post.

I've been doing a lot of stuff, and this summer is really going to be packed!

This weekend, we went to visit my aunt in Peoria, Illinois. She is a Franciscan Sister of the Martyr St. George! It was really great. This coming weekend, we are going to Texas to do mission appeals at churches. I'm sure by now you have got the memo that we are going to Honduras or Nicaragua in September, or October. Yeah, the date isn't definite. Also, August 3rd Ellie and her boyfriend Tom are coming to visit. My oldest sister Abi and her husband Grant are getting here the 11th of August and Mia is also coming back from World Youth Day then! I am doing camp nano this July, which is going slow, but fun. So, I will be posting every other week I think. We'll see. A very awesome friend (THANKS MADDIE!!) told me I should have a schedule for posting, so that's it. I don't want to do every week, though. That would be too much.

So, I also am going to start posting more of my art work, I mean you'll want to see it before you commission me, I'm assuming. I haven't really worked on that much though... been writing and reading more.

Okay, one last thing before I go. I have been reading a lot of good books lately, and so here is a list just in case you need something to read:

  1.  Ghost At The Window by Margaret McAllister
  2.  Octave of Angels by Margaret McAllister
  3.  Aesop's Fables by Margaret McAllister
  4.  Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein
  5.  Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics by Chris Grabenstein
  6.  The Doldrums by Nicholas Gannon
I feel sure I've read more but... I can't think of them.... Oh well. I highly recommend all of those! They are very enjoyable and fantiliant.
Oh! did I mention??? I invented that word: Fantiliant. So don't steal it! You can use it, just don't claim it. It is the equivelant of FANTASTIC!!! and BRILLIANT!!! because I use those words waaay too much, so might as well make it easier to say :)

MMC

So, this is my Monday's Minute Challange entry.
But it's not monday!!!! *frowns at Me, Myself and I* (not a another word out of you three!!) But, actually I am here to inform you that I for one do not care that isn't Monday. I wrote it on monday, and that´s all that counts.

I stared into the icy depths of the sea and paused. Maybe he was wrong.  Maybe he was lying. But no, why would he lie to me? There was only one hope. One option. The cold face that reflected on the water told me it was going to be fine. I told it it wouldn't. That face was mine but  I didn't recognize it. It was pale. It's cheeks hollow.  It's eyes emotionless. I dropped the bucket into the depths. The rope it was tied to grew taunt in my hands, but I held on. As I pulled the bucket up, the waves seemed splash closer and closer, higher and higher, trying to reach me. The life from the wood below came up with the bucket. I couldn't see it, but it was there. I had to jump. I could die. I would never see my family again. Never hear the waves of the ocean lap the sand. Never feel mama’s warm embrace. Papa’s voice in my ear. But what choice did I have. It was coming. It would destroy them anyway. It was heartless,  it was cruel. Tears filled my eyes. Turning back to the lighthouse for the last time, I whispered softly.
‘I'm sorry. So, so sorry.’ and jumped.

Yup, that´s it!

So, once again, if you think I am posting too often, or about too silly things, or am boring you with my biography then TELL ME!! I know, I know, you all thought I could read your mind, but I've got news for you:
I can´t! Whaaa?? I know, you're all shocked to pieces!
Yes. It's true. I may not be a master builder- woops, sorry! I was quoting again! Well, I may as well just finish it!! Yay!!

Yes, it's true. I may not be a master builder. I may not have a lot of experience fighting or leading or coming up with plans. Or having ideas in general. In fact I'm not all that smart. And I'm not what you'd call the creative type. Plus, generally unskilled. Also scared and cowardly. I know what your thinking: He is the least qualified person in the world to lead us. And you are right. ~Emmet

Nae saian luume'

Yes, it has been far too long! I think I ought to do more scribbling on this blog, since it is indefatigable. :) So, I wrote this poem for a Thursday Poetry Challenge and I liked it a lot. It is supposed to be in Roald Dahl style, if you don't know what that means, just read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Or Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, that one is good too. You know what? Read as many as you can get your hands on! That's what I do.
Oh, I also drew a comic strip to go with it. I got bored in the middle of coloring it, so it's not finished, and my camera and the lighting are... not the best. Also, I've never done comic style drawings before, I'm not sure how I like it... But I love comments!  So please comment.

Looking out the window
Of our blue schoolhouse today
I spied a Elefendoe
Walking on the lawn

I glanced over at my teacher
Droning at her desk
Like a giant creature
But she wouldn't notice me

I'd have planned it out so well
It would go without a hitch
Oh boy! I thought. Just swell!
Just the thing for show and tell!

I drew out on a paper
The trap I had in mind.
Perhaps I'd make It caper
Or sell it to the zoo

Oh boy, all that dough!
I just couldn't wait
And- goodness! What do you know!
Now, by gosh, there's TWO!

I'd need a lot more wood chips
And some water from the well
I'd also throw a dash of pips
(They'd go nuts for those)

‘When mom asks me along the way
Walking home from school
What have you learned today?
Division, verbs or art?’

‘Why Mom!’ I'll say, loud and clear
You think I'd learn that junk?
I'd sooner-

Then there came a SWAT!!
And I woke up in  hurry
Gone were They, and that was that.
Boy, did Teacher pop her cork.

Another thing, if you would like me to post about anything in particular, just tell me! I think I might start doing my Monday Minute's Challenge on here, as well as Thursday's Poetry Challenge. Wadya think?
P. S. It's kind of hard to read the words, but that's okay because the only things that were said were: *sigh* (In the first picture) and 'Listen up, you dopes!!!' (The Teacher's first words. Enjoy!
