Summer 2017

While I have no particular appreciation or love of the summer months. Hot, dusty, wear-as-little-clothes-as-you-can-get-away-with months that they are.
HOWEVER.

I have been reading other people's posts about their summer and I was like:
"Well, since I haven't posted in two weeks, and they all think I'm dead, I might as well give them a really nice nostalgic, aesthetic post about my summer to make them all think I love summer."

THAT SORT OF FAILED WHEN I MENTIONED I DON'T LIKE SUMMER THAT MUCH.

But whatever, we're moving on.

I have no idea how nostalgic, or aesthetic this post will be, but here's my summer wrapped up into a list of 17 words. ENJOY.

note: all pictures are from Pinterest, unless otherwise stated.

ISN'T THAT PICTURE OF THE BABY BUMP SO ADORABLE??? Why are baby bumps so darn cute???
Probably because we are imagining the human being just waiting to be born inside.

I will try to post more faithfully, folks, and hopefully some songs too.

I also changed my blog look (AGAIN) for the fall months coming up soon enough, how do you like it?? I can never get it quite right, so go ahead and GIVE ME POINTERS PLEASE! And thank you.

Also, I'm gonna try to do more banners and headers and cool stuff so if you have pointers for that too, tell me all the things!

BECAUSE I ALWAYS WRITE THESE IN CAPITAL LETTERS. (EXCEPT SOMETIMES...) (FEEL FREE TO IGNORE ME...) (ACTUALLY DONT THAT'S RUDE)

So this is a tag. Actually 2 of them. And this will be SUPER FUN!
And also probably ridiculously hard to do. (At least the first one)
LET'S GET STARTED, SHALL WE??
(I apologize I am late in posting AGAIN! This week turned out to be unexpectedly hectic, and until everything slows down expect little to no posts from me. Or just late ones.)

THE FIRST TAG:  The What Would A Blogger Party Meet-Up Look Like?

Hosted by the lovely Abigail Lennah!!! Now go to her blog NOW and follow, comment on all her posts, like them, share them, write in her guestbook and basically BE A GOOD COW.
Righto, moving on!

NAME THE VENUE
Erm.. just someplace in a cute little town, right next to a bookshop and a cafe. Someplace out of the way, and beautiful, and scenic. Mountains on one side, plains on the other, and the ocean somewhere close. GOOD LUCK FINDING IT.

LIST THREE FOODS THAT NEED TO BE PRESENT
  1. Ice cream
  2. Waffles (I supposed pancakes too, but whatever.)
  3. Chocolate cake
ALL I CAN SAY IS, SOMEONE EITHER READING (OR WRITING) THIS HAS THEIR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.
ALSO, DON'T JUDGE ME.

DANCE TIME!!! NAME FIVE ARTISTS OR BANDS FOR YOUR PARTY MIX-TAPE
  1. Glen Miller
  2. Audiomachine
  3. Lindsey Stirling
  4. Adam and I
  5. Eklipse
I'M A WRITER OKAY? I NEED MUSIC THAT INSPIRES ME TO WRITE.
Oh, and of course! Abbie Emmons, uhduh.

WHAT THREE ACTIVITIES WOULD WE MOSTLY ENGAGE IN?
  1. Frantically writing notes on the growth of all our new plot bunnies we have recently adopted. (Recently as in two minutes ago...)
  2. Co-plotting World Domination  Collabing a great post with a (meaning seventeen) great blogger(s)
  3. The exchange of blogging tips
  4. We'd also probably be trying to hear eachother over the noise of our own awesomeness, but y'know, we are only allowed three activities, so...

DESCRIBE A POST COLLABORATIVE YOU WOULD DO AT THE PARTY
I would probably ask everyone to answer a few questions such as: how do you like the party, what's your favourite thing about blogging, whats a lesson you have learned from blogging you'd like to share?
And/Or, I would do a favourite quotes collab with everyone.
More than likely, I'd just go with the spur of the moment... hahaha XD

WHAT HABITS OR INTERACTION QUALITIES WOULD YOU NOTICE?
As Abigail said, I'm pretty sure introverts wouldn't be that introverted once they got into the life of the party. I'M SURE I WOULDN'T.

I think there would be a lot of rushing around asking how to spell random words/what random words mean/who has google translate I can borrow/do you think [insert name here] is a good name(yes, I'm naming my child! what else would you call a book)/what's another word for said/HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MANY FOLLOWERS IT'S INSANE/am I insane/can you follow my blog/

Also a ton of pictures being taken, and contact info being swapped, and collabs plotted.

Like Abigail said: NO ONE WOULD SLEEP. WE'D BE MUCH TO HYPED.
I COULD HAVE DAAANCED ALL NIIIGHT! I COULD HAVE DAAANCED ALL NIIGHT AND STIIILL HAVE BEEEEGGED FOR MOOOORE!!!!!!
oops. sorry.

THE SECOND TAG: The Sunshine Blogger Award

I was tagged by my lovely older sister ABI
The-why-are-people-so-obsessed-with-these-ew-this-is-disgusting (aka Rules): Link back to your nominator and thank them and be a nice person unlike the swine who invented rules.
#sarcasmrules
Then you answer the questions, then you ask about the secrets of the universe, then you tag someone else and make THEM subject to the same rules you were. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
them poor little dears, sobbing buckets of tears....

(If you are tagged and don't want to use my wording or don't want to reword it yourself, here is a nice version of what I just wrote:)
Rules: Recognize your nominator, answer the questions ask some questions of your own, and then pass the tag on!

DA QUESCHINS:

(um hello, have you met me? I speak all the languages of all the moons and their rocks. This is actually skdyfhish)

Have you ever traveled outside the US?
MULTIPLE TIMES. I been to the Caribbean, the Phillipines, Central America (multiple times), England, and technically Canada and China if you count sitting in the airport.

What's the first memory you can remember?
I believe I have shared this story before, but I remember singing the Alleluia Chorus to myself at the age of three.

Or what sounded like it to me.

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
ANY AND ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Do you enjoy having pets?
ISH?? I mean, I like some animals. Emphasis on SOME. I'm really picky when it comes to animals, and while I LIKE them well enough, it's much better to read/write about pets. And less messy.

If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Arg this is a hard one! I would love to move back to Oregon, but I also would like to live in England, ya know? Or Ireland. Or Prince Edward Island.

Sensing a pattern here much?
Yes. Yes you are.
I have a thing for islands???

DIS IS GREAT.

My own queschins:
-What song were you listening to last?
-Who was the last person you spoke to?
-What was the last word you spoke, backwards?
-Who is the last person you said Thank You to?
-When was the last time a stranger did something nice for you?
-Who last made you smile?
-What was the last thing you drank?
-WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE BLOGGER?
-Actually don't answer that, because we all know the answer.
-It's me btw.
-Don't argue with your elders.

AND NOW TO TAG YOU LOVELY FOLKS:

Mira Elizabeth
Allie
Sophy
Kathryn
Tane
Sorry I don't have time to link to all of your blogs! Link back to your post if/when  you do this tag so I can read your answers!!!!
Also, I tagged some of you twice, so if you want to do both you can, or you can just pick which tag you want to do!!

I have a new sign-off guys. How do ya like it?

kayloveyoubye!

ANSWER ONE OR MORE OF THESE QUESTIONS, PEOPLE WHO I DID NOT TAG!!!!

How do you like my new blog look? How do you like the sign-off? Elvish is better, but I sorta like this one. It's very abrupt.
HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?? If you don't want to answer any of the tag questions, just answer the What was the last thing that made you smile.
Now go make someone else smile.

ALSO, I JUST LOOKED, AND I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT SOME OF THIS POST IS HIGHLIGHTED IN WHITE, and you can't read it unless you highlight it with your mouse. I don't know why it's doing that, but I'm working on it!
SO SORRY!!!!!

Entry 17 (hello again)
