Entry 12

5/17/2017
-It is literally and figuratively raining cats and dogs around here.
-We got a cat from church, and almost took on six more puppies till mum said no.

-We were all devastated.
-As if eight dogs were a lot!!!

-Ophelia is actually sleeping on my lap now. (the kitten)
-This is probably a bad idea, since it will be me she wakes up to play with at  midnight : thirty-five  yet again.

“Where's Ophelia?!” Isaac exclaims just now, running in the room.
“Here!” I yell over the thunder.
“Where’s Cyrano?!” He exclaims again.
“Dunno!” I yell back.

-He checks under my bed, pulls the little rabbit out and plops her on my lap.

(Note: at this point in time everyone thinks she's a girl. I give up.)

“Can you take care of her?!” He exclaims.
“Fine!” I yell.

-Then he runs off to exclaim at other people.
-Cyrano climbs off my lap and tries to find a way down. I put him on the ground.

-Kids come in and out, all yelling over each other and the rain.
-Every once in awhile Ophelia will wake up and then go back to sleep in a curled position.
-Rachel comes in and tells me:
“Isaac's like: ‘I really want to sit in this water!’ Then a few minutes later he slips in it!”
“Heh!” I laugh in appreciation.
-I think I will write some more now.

later...

-I have a terrible headache. My stomach wants to empty lunch all over my bed, and also it begs me to eat supper.
-I lay in the semi-darkness of my room and tell it to shut up.
-Cyrano messes with something under my bed, and Ophelia growls, purrs, and eats the rest of my toast simultaneously.
-I thought she was fighting with Cyrano at first, but I think she was growling at the flies actually.
-We have so many flies.
-I don't know where they came from, but gawsh they are annoying!!
-We are now waging war on the living flies and the dead flies that accumulate on floors, counters and the dining room table.
-But my head hurts.

-I'm going to read now, since I have nothing better to do and I can’t sleep.

  1. Oh my goodness, I love your pets' names! Y'all are good at naming pets.

Oh dear, that last bit sounds dreadful. So sorry.

Okay, I feel rather foolish for not remembering or not knowing, but I've forgotten what exactly this post series is. It's, like, adventures of a girl on a mission (trip?) or something, but, like, what is it? I seem to remember a post introducing it or something, but I can't remember. And also, I'm just noticing the dates on the last couple; this was a couple months ago? Anyway, I feel rather foolish but I'm the slightest bit confused. May I beg to be enlightened?

I do love reading these! You have such a fun way of writing.

    1. Thank you!!! I rather love them myself. I read a book aloud to my little sisters called Ophelia and the Marvelous Boy and shortly after we got our cat so that is why we named her that, and I think Rachel and I came up with Cyrano for the bunny.

It's alright! I get migraine headaches from time to time :)

Don't worry! It was quite a while ago that I posted the intro!! Okay so this is the mostly true story of my life starting in March and continuing until I feel like stopping. I say mostly because I like to add dramatic flairs and can't always remember conversations exactly as they went. Yeah these posts are from a few months ago. I haven't been able to catch up to recent events yet, which is why I have been only posting these Entries for the last few times.
I hope that clears things up!

Aww thanks!! I'm so glad! and thank you for commenting, dearie!

    1. Thank you!!!! Haha we all pitch in and pick out names. The process is actually quite a drawn out and complicated one, now that I think about it. I shall have to do an Entry on it....
      Thanks for commenting!!!!!!

  3. OKAY I WANT A CAT NAMED OPHELIA. AND A RABBIT NAMED CYRANO. AND YOU'RE NAMING CREATIVITY.

Psh, no, eight dogs is certainly not a lot.

Flies. Flies are the most annoying things ever. In fact, have you read this poem? It's one of my favorites.

"God in His wisdom made the fly and then forgot to tell us why."

If only there was something that rhymed with mosquito.

But I'm in love with these entry posts, so keep them coming please and thank you. xD

    1. I KNOW, RIGHT??? I LOVE THOSE NAMES, THOUGH I DO SAY SO MYSELF. XD
We named the cat after a character in a book (Ophelia and the Marvelous Boy) and I've always loved Cyrano de Bergerac.
I am going to have a pet squirrel named Ambrose one day too! Squirrels seem like fun animals.

I know!! At least not as puppies ;)

THEY ARE. And no! I have never heard that!! IT IS FABULOUS!! And sooo true.
Hmm... I shall have to ponder that and see if I can think of a rhyme!!! XD
You have woken up the inner poet in me, Mira! I am forever indebted. *starts mumbling rhymes to self*

REALLY I AM SO GLAD! I will!! I have many to catch up on so they will keep coming in steadily!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMMENTING!

    1. SHE IS!!! I MISS HER SO MUCH!!! It really is! Luckily for me, I happened to be reading a book with a character with that name, and my siblings loved it as well!
They really are! But I can usually sleep it off, so it's okay. Haha they are! It's hard to remember it sometimes when they get so loud and obnoxious, but they are. I love them. (mostly) XD

      Thanks for commenting, love!!!
